CREIA’s First Membership Conference, Jan 6^th

    CREIA’s First Membership Conference: This conference was held on January 6, 2003 in Beijing, to inaugurate the formal establishment of CREIA.  Coming from every corner of China, over 140 people, including CREIA members, high-level governmental officials, and representatives from other major associations in the field attended the conference.  During the conference, CREIA members reviewed the 2002 Annual Report, the 2003 Work Plan, re-elected Mr. Zhu Junsheng as the President of CREIA, and elected the 25-member Board of Directors.  The Board includes high profile officials of relevant government departments and managers of major enterprises in each industry sub-sector. Seven high-level officials from the Ministry of Science and Technology, the State Economic and Trade Commission, Ministry of Agriculture, Agricultural Energy Industrial Association, Energy Research Institute and Henan Agriculture University were identified to set up the consultation group of CREIA. The conference also provided an opportunity for enterprises to meet potential partners in business discussions.
